By the release of his third album, Junior wrote ‘Do You Really Want My Love?’ for the Beverly Hills Cop sound track album, which became a multi platinum selling album.  At this point his success grew continuously as a songwriter when his work got recorded and performed by artists such as Phyllis Hyman and Sheena Easton.

Junior Giscombe’s biggest European hit, ‘Another Step’, was a duet with the wonderful Kim Wilde, which graced at number 6 in the U.K charts in 1987 and led on to a number of performances including a tour with Wilde as opening act for Michael Jackson.

As the years went on Junior went on further to contribute to our much loved Lighthouse family and their first album ‘Ocean Drive’ which went on to sell amazingly well. The collaborations are endless and on his list Junior can include Maxi Priest, Amy Stewart and Richard Blackwood, and that is just naming a few.
