Looking in their element surrounding by swarming fans, the Sounds of Blackness stood loud and proud.

Though the entrance was a heightening vocal performance by Olanda, the show, nevertheless was elevated to a whole new level once the band joined in unison. From their mouthpiece screeched the sentence, "Come on `y'all-London make some noise" setting an electric energy upon the throng.

In their gospel-esque furore the band moved the crowd to 'I'm going all the way'. Preaching their praising lyrics and good will amongst their fans, the crowd was jilted by their intimate buzz.

As the tambourines jingled and belted drumbeats echoed, Gary Hines steps up to the mic, with an air of appreciation; he trills his recognition to his loyal UK fans, soon followed by an acappella piece. With the band readily poised, they chant a soothing mantra of inspirational lyrics, "Pray just a little while longer, everything will be alright"

Not only were the band only too pleased to quell the satisfaction of their onlookers, but they also treated fans to a visual surprise. With fragmented dance routines to their line up of tracks, the band sent hips shifting and booties waggling.

As the evening flew by, the following tracks splintered the venue, 'Spirit', 'Hold On (Change Is Coming)' and the uplifting track 'Black Butterfly' was neatly embedded within the pack. Despite the varied set of movers, tearers and pick-me -ups, the tempo of tuneful vocals was never undermined. With each band member grasping the earshot of many, it was defying, yet liberating experience.

Sieving through their hit list, one track was longed more so than others. As the band bid their farewell, the fans remain perplexed…only until their return. Hitting an encore to 'Optimistic' the crowd went ablaze, highlighting, once again that the Sounds Of Blackness are in fact the Sounds Of Goodness.
