To be brutally honest, one does not have to be an avid fan of J.K, to be 'Jamiroquai'd'. You only have to see J.K perform live, showcasing his synergetic moves, and you'll be cloned in no time. At Victoria Park, Jamiroquai abstained from nothing -wearing his signature headgear, this time an outlandish feathered piece, he jumps on the track, 'All This Love To Give', in his usual happy-go- lucky stride, his charismatic charm filtrated throughout the audience and a burst of hustles and leaps took off.
With no roof to raise at the outdoor event, Jamiroquai's performance nevertheless catered a heaving crowd of roaring fans. Like the fanfare of an atomic bomb, the jeers of the fans ringed throughout the throng as Jamiroquai spins to the vocals of, 'Space Cowboy'. It was astonishing to watch Jamiroquai live, especially as a vocalist-vocally he made no signs or frowns in attempting to hit strenuous chords , as if a tissue floating in the sky, his notes swiftly drifted the crowd.
The track 'Revolution' touched on a tribal cusp of drumming, with 'If I like It, I do it' tagging along after. The crowd was ruthlessly gagging for more. Jamiroquai's real treat soon let loose, as 'Alright' takes charge. Slithering around on the stage, the track whisked the audience into a chorus- a total entertainer.
Though
his comments were minimal, J.K did get the odd, "How you doing?"
and "You alright?" but the supremacy of his conversation is edged
up when he introduces his next track, "This was the title of my third
album in 1997-or was it? F***** 'ell I can't remember!" and drags in
the single, 'Travelling Without Moving'. With his whirlwind display of charged
energy he certainly jammed the crowd away!
